COMMENT

I wrote the opening theme of SAKAMOTO DAYS, “RUN SAKAMOTO RUN”.

I've loved the manga, and found myself completely absorbed by the powerful artwork, the storytelling, and that addictive contrast between everyday life and deadly battles. I’m incredibly honored and excited to be entrusted with the opening theme for this beloved series’ first anime adaptation.

When I wrote “RUN SAKAMOTO RUN”, I aimed to convey the inspirational protagonist Sakamoto’s overwhelming, unmatched strength. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to record the song in London, which gave it a unique sound, making it a piece I can truly say I gave my all to.

I hope the song ‘runs’ together with the manga, anime, and all of you guys!
